Dungeon level 3 is in the Church dungeon area.
Monsters
Normal Monsters
On most dungeon levels, the game randomly selects monsters from a pool of eligible types. Only some of the monsters listed below will appear in any given game, although certain quests can guarantee specific monsters.
Unique Monsters
Most unique monsters depend on normal monster selection. If the normal monster they're based on is selected for this dungeon level, its corresponding unique monsters will also appear.
Special Monsters
Skeleton King Encounter
The Skeleton King encounter differs between single-player and multiplayer games.
In single-player, if the quest The Curse of King Leoric is selected, an entrance to Skeleton King's Lair appears on dungeon level 3. The Skeleton King is found in this separate mini-level, where he can raise dead skeletons.
In multiplayer, the quest is always present, and the Skeleton King appears directly on dungeon level 3 instead. He steals life rather than raising skeletons.
